RIP: My Youtube Channel, Est: 2008
After my account on Social Cam got deleted due to an upgrade on the app store, I was even more distraught to find that my YouTube channel was officially gone as well. Unaware, I deleted it after attempting to create a new e-mail account via Google (which is connected to Youtube).
And though some may think this is a minor problem, it isn’t. I put a lot of heart and effort into uploading and sharing videos with friends and family- so yes it does bother me a great deal that the memories I’ve uploaded (montages/school projects/Ohana/Pre/Post events/daily vlogs/etc) are no longer easily accessible and some are even completely gone..
There’s definitely plenty of sentimental emotions that connect me to those videos on my specific channel (that’s just part of who I am, documenting; filming/constantly taking photos), so it’s only natural that I feel this way. But on a good note, thank God I have most of the videos saved on file, so it isn’t a complete lost.
I guess the creation of a new channel will allow me to “start fresh,” and of course, share the upcoming memories.
