Halloween Festival
Tonight consisted of:
- Bacon wrapped hot dogs (delish!)
- Innocent kids dancing on the dance floor
- Hanging with Nick and Zack and meeting their (young looking) mama’s!
- Seeing all the cute little kids dressed up
- Helping out at a booth with these three most adorable kids

10/23
So after two days of practice in the heavy heat, I’m glad to say that it was definitely worth the while. The past two days (or today sepecifically) was significant for most of the Ohana girls. Because today were tryouts for Ekahi Ikaika Ohana, the individual’s performance determined whether or not they made it onto the official team (which performs at the biggest events of the year...

10/19
I almost thought today was Friday because it literally had the “Friday” feeling. Beautiful weather, beautiful performance from the Haka Boys and the Ohana girls today, and a wonderful lunch to add to that. - give mediocre advice/ “insight.” I...

I really appreciate the feelings of reassurance, words of wisdom, and...

Update
Unfortunately, my parents have not replaced my stolen phone. So I’ve been phone-less, disconnected (in a sense), and unreachable for almost two weeks now (I’ve been forced to rely on social networks as a means of communication). My parents view it as a “punishment,” though it’s more of an inconvenience for them (not being able to get a hold of me whenever, wherever,...

Homesick
I wish my new home had a balcony like my old home did. I would be able to have my alone time in the fresh air, at night (the best time), playing my guitar - disturbing no one but the silent breeze. It was super relaxing, really. Sounds cheesy, but I appreciated and admired the environment much more during that time; the view of the night lights, the stars, and even the reflection of the moon was...
